Dungeon Settlers has several room types, each with unique upgrades, requirements, and buffs. This guide covers every room tier and upgrade requirement.

All Room Types in Dungeon Settlers

Rooms must be fully enclosed with walls, including corners. There are currently nine room types in Dungeon Settlers.

• Private Room
• Shared Room
• Workshop
• Arcane Workshop
• Research Lab
• Temple
• Dining Room
• Merchant Chamber
• Recreation Room

• Room Size: Total tiles in a the room. Viewable in the bottom right by clicking on a room.
• Decoration Quality: Every decoration added to a room adds to this number.
• Average Wall/Floor Quality: Increases based on the overall quality of walls and tiles in a room.

Note that you can open up and check the upgrade requirements for all rooms via the in-game ‘Game Guide’ at the top-right of the screen.
