Control Resonant Crosses 2 Million Wishlists Before September 24th Launch

With Remedy Entertainment’s Control Resonant only two days away from launch, the developer announced it has passed two million wishlists across all platforms. Last month, it touted 1.5 million wishlists, which is quite the jump in just a month.

Alongside reaffirming launch timings, it noted that pre-loads will begin 24 hours in advance on Steam (meaning September 23rd, 7 AM PT). You can check out the system requirements here, but be warned: Those looking for 4K/60 FPS on Ultra settings with Path Tracing enabled will need some pretty potent hardware. Even then, you’ll need to set upscaling to Performance mode.

Control Resonant launches on September 24th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. As a sequel to 2019’s Control, it takes place seven years later, with The Oldest House’s lockdown having been breached. The Hiss and The Mold have thus been let loose on the streets of Manhattan, but there’s another paranatural threat, The Patterning, that may outright dominate them.

While the Federal Bureau of Control’s director Jesse Faden is MIA, her brother, Dylan, awakens from his coma and sets about trying to help, partly from guilt and partly seeking redemption.
