Dragon’s Dogma 2 wins fans over with free Delicious in Dungeon crossover

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is teaming up with the popular manga Delicious in Dungeon, giving fans the chance to add Laios and Marcille to their adventurer party.

Delicious in Dungeon was one of the standout anime of 2024, with the fantasy show having one of the most unique takes on dungeon crawling. Instead of just slaying mythical beasts and calling it a day, warrior Laios and his trusty companions set about cooking everything that so much as moves.

No beast is safe from this food-loving party, and now Laios and elven mage Marcille are bringing their insatiable appetites to Dragon’s Dogma 2 as free recruitable companions complete with new outfits for fans to claim. It’s pretty exciting stuff, and fans of both the anime and manga couldn’t be happier with their addition to Capcom’s action RPG.

Laios & Marcille head to Dragon’s Dogma 2

From today until January 29, 2027, Dragon’s Dogma 2 players on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC can recruit Official Pawns modeled after Laios and Marcille by visiting Riftstones in towns and other locations. (Nintendo Switch 2 players can claim them a week later, on November 12).

The announcement has already drawn a lot of attention from the Delicious in Dungeon community, with fans praising Capcom for the new collab.

“I can't believe it, this is a dream collab I never thought would actually happen. The reason I started reading Danjon Meshi was that it reminded me of Dragon's Dogma,” wrote one player. “Yes!!!! I literally spoke about this about a year ago, and to see this now is phenomenal,” added another.

Just like in the manga/anime, Laios retains his swordsman class with the Fighter Vocation, while his magical partner Marcille has the Sorcerer Vocation. Players can also claim free outfits based on both characters by loading their save data in either Dragon’s Dogma 2 or Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen during the collaboration period.

Both costumes will automatically appear in your in-game storage and can be equipped by your Arisen and Pawns.

So, if you’re hungry for Delicious in Dungeon season 2, this crossover should help satisfy your appetite while you wait. Now, if only Capcom could add an official Frieren collab to the mix, then we’d be set for a perfect anime-themed adventure.
