Dungeon Crawler Carl Returns With $299 New Release Available November 23

Dungeon Crawler Carl is back in a massive way. The entertaining tabletop series has just come out with a massive loot pack deal, including a whopping 20 loot crates. Each loot crate comes with a bevy of benefits, and the entire set is available for preorder right now. It's listed at $299, but Game Nerdz is offering a temporary discount, selling the set at $239 with free shipping.

Dungeon Crawler Carl has exploded in popularity over the past few years. It's easy to see why: it's a fun, silly franchise filled with danger, exploration, and two of the best main characters in the dungeon-crawling genre. This set is both a great way to commemorate the series and add some life to a fan's current tabletop setup.

Dungeon Crawler Carl Is Back in Action

Dungeon Crawler Carl has been a pretty popular novel series since it first came out in 2020. It did well during the pandemic, giving people locked in their homes a chance to get out of them mentally though Carl's journey. In 2024, author Matt Dinniman's series was picked up by Penguin Random House, exposing his series to a much wider audience.

The tabletop role-playing game looks to expand on the franchise and give fans a chance to head through the dungeons themselves. The loot pack currently available comes with 20 separate packs, each with their own goodies. Each pack comes with 7 polyhedral dice and a collectible temporary tattoo.

There are 20 collectible temporary tattoos in total, each celebrating a different aspect or character of the series. The dice sets are really interesting, as there are 18 different sets in total. There are 12 common dice sets, 5 rare dice sets, and 3 legendary dice sets that only appear once in every 100 packs.

What's Next for Dungeon Crawler Carl?

Dungeon Crawler Carl is expanding at an awesome rate. The novel series has grown into a tabletop board game, comic books, graphic novels, games, and more. Most notably, Dungeon Crawler Carl is set for a live-action television series on Peacock. The project is in collaboration with Seth MacFarlane's Fuzzy Door Productions, and he's the perfect person to work with.

Princess Donut is a staple of Dungeon Crawler Carl. There's no series without Carl's ex-girlfriend's cat, and MacFarlane has a ton of experience bringing CGI elements to life without making them look out of place. It's an exciting time to be a Dungeon Crawler Carl fan, as the franchise looks like it has no limits.

The loot packs are available for preorder now, and they're set to be shipped out on November 23, 2026, just in time for the holiday season. It's a great gift for anyone who loves Carl, Princess Donut, or the world of Dungeon Crawler Carl itself.
