Dungeon Crawler Carl fans have yet another Unstoppable expansion to look forward to, and it is only months away.
Renegade Game Studios has officially unveiled the next expansion to the Dungeon Crawler Carl Unstoppable deck-building game, and The Iron Tangle Expansion looks to be the most harrowing yet. Currently available for pre-order and slated to arrive in stores this November, Dungeon Crawler Carl Unstoppable: The Iron Tangle Expansion will drop players into a whole new arena teeming with its own bosses ready to sink their hooks, teeth, and claws into anything that crosses their paths.
The Dungeon Crawler Carl Unstoppable: The Iron Tangle Expansion Is coming Soon
Dungeon Crawler Carl Unstoppable was unveiled earlier this year alongside Renegade Game Studios' upcoming Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG, with both titles offering fans a different way to dive into the world of their favorite lit-RPG series. The crowdfunding campaign for both games ended earlier this year, raking in well over $13 million against an initial fundraising goal of just $250,000.
The official product description for Dungeon Crawler Carl Unstoppable: The Iron Tangle Expansion from Renegade Game Studios reads, "Welcome to the Fourth Floor of the World Dungeon: The Iron Tangle! You'll get lost in the thousands of interconnected subway tunnels, with new monsters popping up out of every corner. Luckily, you've leveled up your game and have access to some new Tactics, Allies, and Upgrades to help you against these dangerous new threats. Find your way to the stairs, or look for alternate paths out, just don't get stuck in The Abyss!"
Dungeon Crawler Carl Unstoppable: The Iron Tangle Expansion will continue the campaign introduced in the game's core set, with all manner of new Tactics and Upgrades making their debuts to help players face off against similarly new enemies and bosses. The Iron Tangle expansion will also give players the chance to travel along the Nightmare Express, opening up entirely new opportunities for exploration, not to mention new avenues of attack that just so happen to run in both directions.

Apart from the numerous games and upcoming titles in the mainline Dungeon Crawler Carl lit-RPG series by creator Matt Dinniman, fans are eagerly awaiting the live-action streaming adaptation of the series from Peacock. Dinniman himself confirmed the series in June, writing, "Surprise! I’m happy to announce that our friends at Peacock have *officially* greenlit the Dungeon Crawler Carl television series."
Dinniman added, "Me, Chris Yost and Seth MacFarlane and his team at Fuzzy Door are all really excited to get to work. In the coming weeks I'll have more details, and if you're going to SDCC be sure to catch me and Chris on our DCC panel. In the meantime, I wanted to thank you, the fans, for helping make this happen."
The logline for Dungeon Crawler Carl from Peacock reads, "An alien invasion has wiped out most of humanity and any survivors are forced to fight for their lives on a sadistic intergalactic game show. Sounds bad, right? Now try doing it with bare feet and a stuck-up, self-centered, tiara-wearing talking cat as your partner."
The series' logline continues, "Welcome to Dungeon Crawler World: Earth, where the apocalypse will be televised…and Coast Guard vet Carl finds himself stuck with his ex-girlfriend’s award-winning show cat, Princess Donut the Queen Anne Chonk, as they try to survive the end of the world, fighting monsters, aliens, an insane A.I. and even other survivors…all for the sake of good TV. Survival is optional. Entertainment is not."
