World of Warcraft Forever aims to combat dungeon boosting, says ‘no plans

Even with multiple panels at BlizzCon this past weekend, Blizzard still hasn’t revealed all of the important information about its upcoming World of Warcraft Forever. Case in point, during an interview with a YouTuber the devs said that there are “no plans” to include the WoW Token or paid character boosts in this version of the MMO — at least for now.

And in another interview, the devs revealed that it’s making a major change to dungeon XP, presumably in order to combat instance spamming and paid boosting services: “Now, one place experience did change is we made a big change to our dungeons. In that the amount of XP you get from killing monsters in dungeons, we brought way down. But we made the amount of XP for completing dungeon quests much, much, much higher. So your first run through a dungeon is amazing. You get tons of XP. You get great rewards. But going back over and over and over again isn’t the best way to go.”
